About

Built by people
who did the work.

Early-stage deal sourcing is mostly manual. The tools available to venture analysts haven't kept pace with what's technically possible. That gap is where Accorata started.

Laurent spent seven years at Palantir watching sovereign funds run sophisticated data infrastructure for public markets, then turned around and saw VC analysts maintaining deal spreadsheets by hand. Anouk had solved harder document extraction problems in research and saw exactly where the techniques applied. Jun-Ho had spent four years doing the manual work himself, as an analyst at Partech.

They incorporated Accorata AG in Zurich in 2023. Switzerland was a deliberate choice: European technical talent, proximity to the EU regulatory framework, and a financial services culture that treats data compliance as a baseline, not a feature.

Manifesto

Coverage before conviction. An investor who sees more of the market makes better decisions, not because they work harder, but because the sample is larger. The edge in early-stage investing isn't superior analysis of a small set. It's systematic exposure to a complete one.

The current standard is broken. Analysts aggregate 30+ sources manually every morning. Inbound decks go unanswered for days. Thesis parameters live inside someone's head rather than in a repeatable system. Deals get missed not because they were hidden, but because the queue was too long.

Accorata is not an AI pitch-deck reviewer. It doesn't pretend to replace the judgment of a partner who has seen a thousand founders. It removes the mechanical work that sits before that judgment: the aggregation, the deduplication, the initial screen, the first-pass memo. Your team should arrive Monday morning ready to think, not ready to type.

"Less aggregation. More conviction."

Leadership

The founding team.

Laurent Tissot

Chief Executive Officer

ex-Palantir London

Laurent spent seven years at Palantir building data intelligence systems for sovereign wealth funds and large asset managers. He left after watching how far ahead public market participants were in data tooling compared to VC, and decided early-stage was the more interesting problem.

Anouk Widmer

Chief Technology Officer

ex-Google Research Zurich

Anouk led applied ML research at Google Zurich, focused on information extraction from unstructured documents and large-scale entity resolution. Her work on multi-source signal aggregation is the foundation of Scout and Brief.

Jun-Ho Park

Chief Business Officer

ex-Partech Paris

Jun-Ho was a principal at Partech, where he screened over 2,000 deals in four years and managed analyst workflows directly. He joined Accorata to build the product he needed at Partech but couldn't find anywhere.
